The amazing feeling when friends pop into the room just to feed you cheese and crackers, pretty much ignoring other people in the room. Thank you, G, as much as I am concerned, you have permission to get away with a ton of nasty stuff now. ;)
When people stuck in the same car after a surfing trip get hangry, Coco Curry ex machina saves the day! Still can't believe they hadn't been in one before. And we made it back in time!!
The clear coca cola sold here - complete trash, tastes hideous, was feeling sick after a few sips and had to throw it away :S. And I absolutely detest throwing food away, if that isn't clear yet.
When upon a visit to the shop you stumble upon a pack of candies you only know because a double-combo of friends had been messaging you all about how they went through the shops in half the city trying and failing to find it, the natural course it to try them out, right. But what to do when you actually find them just overly sweet and pointless? (Ok, maybe I can partly blame the lingering effects of the dreadful coke..)
Never would have guessed that a combination of over-the-expiry-chicken, canned mixed sweet! beans, a packet of kyoza with the sauce and some chilli paste all fried up in a broken pan could combine into edible, nah, tasty food. And no, this one was not my idea.. but to be fair, I was rather hungry at the time.
There's no DnD session without a pile of junkfood :P ... Oeh, well, with the frequency of those things happening, guess I should try to enforce more veggies and less sweets on myself on regular days...
The hell did I just eat? A deep fried konbini "hamburger" with cheese sauce with the patty part consisting of something white and soft on the inside (not cheese, not mochi, hoping with all my heart it wasn't just pure lard (the greasy part of bacon, don't know whether there is a proper word in English for the Estonian work 'pekk' (also just noticed I was writing this post in English, whoops))) and tempura on the outside. Against all odds, tasted good.
Cheese bread circle from my new favourite bakery, still hot from the oven + an actual computer game after.. years = heaven!
Cheers,
Hedi
