Amongst the plethora of different flavoured-or-not milk drinks (notice, not saying milk products) it might be difficult to find the most common not-too-processed cow milk. Well, turns out, there's a trick here. Namely, all of it has a small half-moon shaped cutout in the top part of the tetra-pack. No more deciphering kanji and wondering about all the dilution levels or mix-ups with soy- or other "milk" etc. The actual reason for the existence of that notch are not stupid gaijin, of course, but people with seeing disabilities - Estonia, learn something!
It's also cool that this tip originates from M, just visiting here for a few short weeks... well, I mean, he did have a rather deep-insider source of all things Japanese for a few years but still. Wishing all knowledge that gets sprung on you by someone's egoism right before a PhD entrance interview were uplifting like that instead of crushing.
