Mix of random meats (pork, mutton, beef, chicken - whatever happen to be on discount during the shopping trip) chopped into manageable chunks and high-pressure cooked for an hour with some carrot, garlic, soy sauce, mirin, sake or wine, quince paste, black pepper, chilli paste, ginger paste and water. Meat removed form the liquid and shredded, the rest boiled down to thick sauce and added back onto the meat for juice-retaining storage (because it makes sense to cook a whole week's worth of this at a time).

Rat sandwich
a.k.a our newest favourite summer-food. Eat with some cucumber salad, tomatoes, pickled bean sprouts or whatever on the side for the crunch factor.
